Please rest assured that we are addressing this issue, and if any vulnerabilities are discovered, that we will let you know and they will be dealt with as quickly as possible. We can confirm that our Online Banking system has not been affected by the Heartbleed bug. Your Online Banking information is and has been secure. Savings Accounts are considered dormant when there has been no activity for 12 months. Once dormant, the account is charged $5.00 per month if balance is less than $1,000.


Federal Regulations limit the number of withdrawals or transfers that may be made from a savings account to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction, computer transfer, or by check, draft, debit card or similar order to a third part to six (6) per calendar month or statement cycle*.  Regardless, of the type of transaction, you may make six (6) withdrawals from your account each calendar quarter with no fee; withdrawals exceeding six (6) including electronic withdrawals , will be subject to a $2.00 transaction fee.

*If your savings account statement is combined with your checking account statement you are limited to nor more than six (6) withdrawals per statement cycle.  If you receive your savings account statement quarterly you are limited to no more than six (6) withdrawals per calendar month.


Green Thumb Savings
**Must maintain a checking account with Farmers Bank to obtain the premium interest rate.
Required opening deposit amount is $50.00.

Required minimum ledger balance is $50.00.

Below the required minimum, there is a quarterly service charge of $10.00.

Service Charge per each withdrawal in excess of six (6) per calendar quarter including electronic withdrawal is $2.00.

Premium Interest Rate paid
Quarterly Interest transferred to checking account.

Combined Statements with checking account give you a collective view of your accounts.

No early withdrawal.  
Account must close and a service charge of $5 will be assessed.

Certificates of Deposit and Individual Retirement Accounts
Terms from 32 days to 10 years. Fixed rate and variable options. There are penalties for early withdrawal.
